Kenworth K100 Aerodyne disappearing lately
« on: April 01, 2007, 03:49:39 PM »
Somehow I'm beginning to realize that Kenworth's K100 Aerodynes are beginning to disappear. They seem fun and BJ and the Bear had brung it to life from the shadows. I'm wondering has anyone seen a K100 Aerodyne or pictured one maybe know one for sale or seen them in yards (including evil salvage yards :x)? Were they the pride of the fleets?

There were trucks like the Pineapple out of Denver along with Carol Smith and his big black pete w/ a KTA600, The Monfort gang (Monfort Lane) ,Cantrell out of Mo. w/his wicked 359 3408 cat and all his friends, Frank Frazer and his small bunk, big KTA 600.

Here are a couple that sit in a field about 20 miles from my house. I have tried to contact the owners about maybe buying them but so far she won't budge. BTW I had one for about four years and I loved it to. Mine was a 89.

Below was the one I had

While I was on vacation they had another driver take it on a trip and during the run he blew a piston in louisville . So The company opted to traded it in on a new truck for me. ( the truck that is pictured on the top.)  I only had this truck for a about a year before finally giving up the road to marry my little Italian polish princess.

The red one is in Europe, look at the plate and, in the seccond pic, theres a Volvo COE next to it.
You should maybe find a hobby or a sport, spend sometime outside perhaps.
REDSOX!
Oh well, 18-1....
