The first Cascadia i was able to get a pic of - this truck had just gotten off I-75 and was heading for one of the Punta Gorda FL stores this morning.

Even though I love the Prostar, and Cascadia in their fleet, I honeslty would prefer they stay all Sterling. I understand they can't be all Sterling for a whole lot longer, but you don't see a whole lot of all Sterling fleets anymore, especially in their color. Gotta love the Publix fleet ;D Awesome shot Charlie, makes me miss home. Try and get some shots if you go toward Boynton Beach, that was where I grew up, Publix has a DC is Boynton ;D

Do you see any Prostars on your side of the state Yulee? ??? I've yet to see one over here and it's been almost a month already.

Sadly, no. When I saw your post from last year, I was hopeful, but I believe they went with FL. They still have a lot of Sterlings, but more and more FL are showing up.

Here's a Sterling i caught this morning at the Publix store on US 41 & Burnt Store Road in Punta Gorda FL. Had a chat with the driver who said the Prostars were pretty much a test truck since they've been buying Cascadias left and right but that may end soon. He said Publix is searching for a "new" truck brand as they want to get away from the Detroits.

Here's something i just spotted on the web. :o  Greatwide will close its Winter Haven FL office and will not be pulling Publix trailers anymore as they've ended their relationship.

Looking through some old photos i just came across this shot from late June 2007.  :o Never knew Publix ran this type of trailer.

Didn't Publix get started in Lakeland? I know they have a huge operation in that area.

I finally saw a couple of Prostars on Wednesday on the way back from Estero so they're still around. I'm liking the Cascadia though :)........haven't caught one at rest yet but this shot today was close.

That is their HQ. It has a Bakery, Deli, Dairy plant, Dry/grocery warehouse, and two frozen warehouses. Then the corporate side has: Corporate Offices, Massive IT Data Center, Flight Center, Printing Services, New Corporate Offices, Downtown Programming and IT Support Services, Retail/Corporate Call Center. Always love visiting Publix whenever I go home down south ;D
