I'm not quite sure where Richmond Hill GA is....it must be near Atlanta but Charlie sent me this picture from there this morning.

The Pete is from Q-Line of Saskatoon Saskatchewan.

Thursday December 12 2019

The first clear morning in several I went to get a POTD and this was the best I could get.
A Mack with a Grant Haulage 4 axle trailer rolls up the street on the way to another customer.

Rob

Re my POTD from the other day in Richmond Hill GA. It's off I-95 about 10 miles south of Savannah GA...……..Ft. Stewart is a big U.S. Army base in the area and with he port nearby there's always a lot of truck movement around here.

Thanks Charlie....for both the picture and location.
Richmond Hill is also the name of a suburb north east of Toronto.
Was that your last snow bird trip of the year?

Yay for Dad!
I got nothing today and tomorrow and Sunday are questionable for me.
I hope someone can pick up the next two days too.

Saturday the 14th, lots of activity going on for a weekend, there were 7 concrete mixers on site in different stages feeding this 6 axle Mack pumper unit, one of them is this fine FLD112 twinsteer

Bill, would definitely say it'an H63, always thought it was one of the best looking trucks made.  The 63 had the "Peterbilt" style fenders, the later H67 had the "Diamond Reo" style.  Not sure what the model # is of the earlier "cherrypicker".

I'll show you DREARY  Mr. D!
Dark, Dreary, Desolate, Despondant...umm....DISGUSTING!!! December 17 2019 dawn.

However, the chicken lites show nicely on this Western Star trash hauler so the morning was a little brighter.

We are just about at the shortest day of the year so things will start to improve yet again.

Rob.
