Waste Industries merges with GFL Environmental
« on: July 12, 2019, 01:43:37 PM »
Here's an excerpt from the letter:

"On November 15, 2018, Waste Industries completed a merger with GFL Environmental.
Due to this merger, you may be wondering what you can expect going forward and we have good news!
Our fleet will be getting a fresh coat of paint and a new logo, but our commitment to you remains our highest priority."

Farther down in the letter:

"Over the coming months you'll see trucks, containers, and uniforms begin to switch to our new colors."

Also, it says eventually they'll do away with www.wasteindustries.com and move to www.gflenv.com.

Pretty interesting, I'm looking forward to seeing the new look.

Looks like another paint scheme I'll have to keep a look out for around here … which shouldn't be to hard  ;)  ;D

I wonder if they will keep the same trucks Waste Ind. is running now (Mixture of FL M2s, Pete 320s and Autocars Xpeditors) or switch over to Macks as per GFL's website ??? :-\

I guess that's why GFL has a stock market IPO in the works.
They are big in Toronto.

Years later I haven't seen a new paint scheme.

GFL got kicked off of several municipal contracts for their poor cvor.

Seen they just made their way here.  8) Seen one of those Green trucks (the one I seen was a Mack MR/Terrapro MRU... I couldn't really tell as I had my back towards the road and seen the reflection of it go by on a window lol  ;D 8) I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for them now.
