NEMF Camp Hill Bankruptcy Auction
« on: June 20, 2019, 01:19:25 PM »
After the Macungie show over the weekend, I took Monday and Tuesday to head out to the outskirts of Harrisburg for truck action. It coincided with the NEMF auction at their Camp Hill terminal. I took just shy of 150 photos there but that's a lot to dump and manage in one forum thread. I'm going to make a page for it with all of the photos on my website in the not too distant future.

A guy I saw at the Macungie show said Estes only took 2016 & newer Eastern Freightways tractors so I guess the ones in your pics are older. Cool photos Greg...……….always wanted to walk around one of these auction lots.

I saw an Estes guy at the auction. They bought a bunch of tractors and trailers.

I haven't gotten a picture yet but a couple of Eastern Freightways flatbeds I saw last week had an Estes sticker on the sleeper. Couldn't read it so not sure what it said.

What a collection of shots you have there Greg. Looks like you managed to get quite the haul. That old Mack tanker and plow are both really neat, hope they find a new home soon. I'm sure the cabs and trailers won't have a problem selling.

They say “Operated by Big E Transportation” I got a photo of one on Tuesday.

Thanks Partsman. It all had to go so hopefully it’s put to use and not scrapped!

You should have bid on the old Mack plough truck.
Park it in Charlie's driveway - I'm sure he wouldn't mind.

I don't see any Pete 579s in the collection Greg. Have they been bought up already?  ???

And Ch's that you can't kill. I wonder if there were any R or U models left.

There was an older tough Mack CH613 I really wish I could have won!

Charlie, some Peterbilt 579s and KW T-680s are either at the Lehighton auction which is today or at the Elizabeth auction. I will cherish the photos I have of those tractors from when they were in service.

Greg

Hope it's alright to post this pic here but I thought it fit the thread. Took this today at the Flying J in Elkton MD which is just around the corner from what was the NEMF terminal...……..guessing they might be on the way up to Elizabeth for an upcoming auction. There was also a great looking FL Cascadia parked here plus another truck hooked to an Eastern Freightways trailer. Thought these Macks looked better than they ever did when they were on the road. ;D

Was that Cascadia a Day cab and Maroon/Silver stripe by any chance?

Yes it was Ray. I have a photo of it but don't want to hog up Greg's thread.

You can post whatever you'd like Charlie. The Elkton auction was not long before the Camp Hill one so some people may just be getting to their equipment.
