Autocar Brochures and other Oldies
« on: June 06, 2019, 04:30:41 PM »
A few weeks ago, I came across the build folder from when our Autocar wrecker was being built back in the 80's. I didn't know this folder existed, so much to my surprise, among miscellaneous paperwork, it included 2 Autocar brochures, and photos of our Autocar when it was purchased, when it was being rebuilt into a wrecker, and immediately after the rebuild was finished. ;D

So, without further ado, here's the first brochure.

In the next few days I'll get the other brochure and the build photos up.
Move Over & Slow Down for Stopped Emergency Vehicles.
This Includes Tow Trucks and Their Operators.

Hey, thanks guys!

Alright, here's the second brochure.

First up, "The Legend".
I hope we see one of the new Autocars painted in one of the classic Autocar schemes.

And now some old photographs of our Autocar, W-40.

How it looked when it was purchased. It was purchased used.
This shot was taken at one of our old yards.

In the build in 1989. I'm not really sure where this one was taken, but it also appears to be the same old yard.

And lastly, finished!
Move Over & Slow Down for Stopped Emergency Vehicles.
This Includes Tow Trucks and Their Operators.
