I'm hooked on these old ruck stop photos....could look at them all day long. ;D Especially cool to pick out trucking companies & different makes and models in the pics. I agree with you 100%......glad someone had a camera back then.

That is a tall guy standing to the left of that Mack and a brand new Chevy at the pumps .

Indeed! Surely more fun than doing cross word puzzles. In this photo at Las Cruces? It rather "begs the question"
if it directly related to yours of a couple days back? Photo of lots of LEE WAY trucks at (most likely?) Tulsa OK? It
still about 700 miles between Las Cruces and Tulsa. It more than coincident both photos at TEXACO travel plazas?
Year 1956 much to early to expect to have seen CFWY in the view. Also, in the photo, it would have helped if there
had been markings on the two van trailers... (Some P-I-E or I-C-X would have been nice? <G>)..
