What the???? (Pitt Ohio)
« on: April 23, 2019, 08:07:26 PM »
The first shot below wasn't what I was going for when I saw this funky Cascadia with a 53' Xtra Lease van coming towards me on EB I-80, but my autofocus was acting up.  Fortunately it fired at the last second.  I was quite surprised to see the Pitt Ohio name.

I found it later a few miles up the road in the shop area of their West Middlesex PA terminal.  I guess it was a project truck put together by the service crew, possibly for recovery work.

Never seen anything like that for Pitt Ohio before but you're probably spot on. That's a rare catch right there.

The "W" prefix on the number definitely puts it in the series with those nice KW wreckers they have. It probably just tows stranded trailers.

This is a new one on me, and I was just in West Middlesex last night. We got a handful of Freightliners over the years but given some of the transformations Iíve seen over the years for the sake of repurposing, itís difficult to guess this trucks history. Itís likely based at WMS as there is a mini graveyard there.

Give me 40 acres and I'll turn this rig around, it's the eee-easiest way that I've found!

Love the long wheelbase with a daycare, our equipment movers are setup like this.
