Transamerica 45' Reefer
« on: January 19, 2019, 08:21:17 AM »
I was searching for some info on a Seaboard System trailer when I came upon CACHman's Martrac thread here:

http://hankstruckforum.com/htforum/index.php?topic=8921

Somewhere around the bottom third of the images he posted is a Transamerica reefer that inspired this model built from a Walthers 45'x102" Stoughton trailer with an Automodelle underbody reefer, Microscale decals and various A-line parts:

I hope to build several more reefers following CACHman's great photos.

Looking good. 8) Now just back a UPS Mack F model tractor under it & that would complete the look. :)

Sorry for the late reply. The reefers came from ebay. They're made by Automodelle.

Good to know Ryan, if I make another reefer chassis I know where to go, I fabricated one up on an older build from 2 truck body nose mount reefers and a lot of other little changes!
