Been a couple crazy weeks! Kind of lost track of what I've been doing at work, but I know I've been busy still. Even got a load of five inch cobble to take up to Amalgamated Sugar in Nampa, Idaho. Had a good deal for a few days hauling gravel from Plymouth to a customer in Clearfield four loads a day, then mostly just keeping West Valley going other than that.

The tanker Andy's pulling looks like it just wants to split in the middle. :-\

Sorry, the text is in a weird place, been copying and pasting too much from other forums I post in. Andy drives the grey and green Pete with the double bellies like mine.

Been running West Valley at a slightly more relaxed pace the last two weeks and each Friday, I've loaded a load of salt for Weiser, Idaho. Still not looking like it'll slow down much for some time though. Even if the aggregate business gets slow, there's more salt to haul than we know what to do with right now. Hopefully get to pull bellies into December this year!

Pretty rare to find a working Diamond Reo in northern Utah, but I've seen this one around Salt Lake a few times this year.

Something I like about these forward axle FLDs.

The Diamond Reo is sure cool and the FLD, good to see both still working!

This last week was a mix of Beck Street, West Valley, Plymouth to Layton, and a little bit of Idaho salt. Got six full days of work in.

Any snow where you were running?
Are you going over the road for the winter again this year?
I like that KW.  8) 8) 8)

Hi Rob! Every time it rains the snow gets a little further down the mountains, but nothing down in the valley yet, not that has stuck to the ground anyway. I will be OTR in the winter, but I think we have enough belly dump work to hold me until December, which is great!

This week I got to do a load out of Beatty, Nevada and a load over the hill to Smithfield, some normal local stuff, and a load of salt to Boise for the weekend! Done over three thousand miles a week the last two weeks, loving it.

Good to hear you're keeping busy, that Western W990 is super sharp, and the shot itself looks really good with those mountains in the background. 8)

Thanks guys! It was a lucky catch on a cloudy day.

This week was a different plan everyday, haha. Some local stuff, a load of salt from Redmond (been two or three years since I've done that), and white salt to Mountain Home and New Plymouth, Idaho.

Saw this neat little unit down at the Redmond plant.
