I guess any thing can be done if you have a shop and money to complete it would be a great project.

My buddy is redoing a 47 Kenworth. It' s all there but been sitting in a barn for years. It's getting a 4 1/4 Cat and I think an 18sp. It's going on a long wheelbase Pete air ride frame. He plans on something like Sundance Transport's 56. Paint ...... Probably burgundy over champagne.

You forgot time ;) I do not have any of those; however, I have skill at finding/sourcing components and outsourcing labor. I think ~$25K will go a long way. If I have that truck function and look like I want it, I will have >$27K in it.

I will update the progress/budget. So far, 50 ?Kenworth was $2K, Donor/truck -White was $1.8K.
Speaking of finding/sourcing; pretty sure I am picking up a later 923 - I'll post some images and details soon.

Do you have an image of your 1st KW?
My number is a guesstimate. I have a young fellow w/shop that will do/help the component installs, blasting, body, paint and glass for $25/hr. ;D
I can already see how this hobby can get expensive. I am considering this one at $2500 https://imgur.com/MRHwNoX
1972 W923. Check out the length/wheelbase.

Hi Deven
That is classy! It looks close to same year model my first truck - 1982 W900. I bought this one in 2012,  now I wish I kept it. It was not exactly a highway truck, 13 x 4 speed. 52 gears  :o with a top speed 62 mph. https://imgur.com/a/QCejY7m
