DODGE cabover
« on: August 25, 2018, 04:06:59 AM »
Back in the '50's Aurora produced a set of four 1/64 truck kits. The tractors were a 55 Ford T800 or a White 3000. Both were nice for their day but light on details and had finicky multi-piece cabs. There was a fuel/milk tanker, a goose neck low boy and this van trailer. The van and low boy are actually pretty nice and again, mint, boxed examples bring big money. I bought a few partly or poorly built examples years ago. Here's one of my van trailers behind an M2 Dodge C700. The Dodge is actually a 58 or 59 but M2 often calls it a 57.  They all used the same cab but the 58 and 59 had these bulges on the cowl and doors.
