Kenworth T600
« on: August 09, 2018, 09:08:06 AM »
Many years ago I built this Kenworth T600. The truck tractor is by Herpa/Promotex with modified hood and airdam. The decals are by Microscale. The trailer is from Bowser with only some additional painting for the rims.

Great looking rendition of the Herpa KW! The modifications you did sure changed it for the better, beautiful finish and looks great hooked into the Bowser trailer. Well done Kurt!

I built this Kenworth T600 at the same time as the Werner Enterprises truck. The truck tractor is by Herpa/Promotex too with modified hood and side skirts. The wheels are by A-Line. The trailer comes from Roco with E-One`s CFR P23, built out of a kit by RMM.

Very nice work. Have you checked the loaded height of this?

You ask with good cause. The load reaches in 1:1 up to about 4,7 meters over ground, that are almost 16 ft. So the route for the transport must be well explored and authorized by the responsible authority. But it is not imposible.

Another very well done build of days gone by Kurt, never realized the RoCo trailer would come up looking that well painted in non military green. The load is impressive and in Alberta, they move that height all the time so you are fine for the Wild Rose Country - as stated on the license plates!

At the same time I built three T600 based on the Promotex model, but with different sleepers. Here is the third one with a sleeper cut off from a resin K100 cabin.

Another convincing T600 Kurt, you sure do make them look better then they were and the sleeper choice on this one is very cool too.
