Went up to Edison NJ today for the first time in 2 months just to check out the action & any changes in the 2 industrial parks that yield a lot of my photos. Quite a bit of LTL action going on which I'd like to share.

Cool stuff, particularly the A. Duie Pyle and the New Penn Cascadias.
Never seen a YRC Sterling with a black grill like that though, kinda funky looking, but not in a bad way. :)

Thanks guys.......glad you liked the variety. I probably missed out on another dozen LTL units that were scurrying around the busy warehouses. :( Time for Part 2 from yesterdays trip.

Man, you got a good haul on that trip Charlie.
That Ward International had a real "City" bumper.
Lots of UPS running around.
No Tripars there?

No Tripar yesterday Rob. Yeah UPS was out in force........UPSF had a Volvo working & UPS had a KW T680 & a Mack Pinnacle running around too. UPS has a big hub in the Raritan Center which is one of the industrial parks I visit in Edison so there's always a constant parade of their units around.

Nice to see some different LTL rigs out there Charlie, nice haul. Like the Volvo for New Penn, they are still driving the same old Mack beaters around here. A Duie Pyle is looking good too, they're one of my favorite LTL carriers.

That FedEx T680 looks great.  The reason all new power units have gray or black bumpers was all the rock chips and rust developing on them.  This one has been taken care of.

Great pics!

Thanks Rene. ;) LTL doesn't have the turnover of units like the truckload sector but I sure do like the different makes & liveries. :)

Lots of rental power for UPS Freight in these photos. I wonder if a lot of their tractors are incapacitated being repainted all brown like they are here. That Pitt Ohio Prostar (or RH or whatever they call them now) is different. I saw one running the road after finishing up at NEMF a few weeks ago. I saw they’re getting more Cascadias and testing an Anthem too.
