Main Street Action - May 2018

The first Sunday afternoon in May.

The first thing we saw was a COE from Great Canadian Van Lines

Challenger was moving containers - possibly Toyota parts to be put on the line on Monday morning.

FUEL Transport from the Montreal suburb of LaSalle Quebec

Labatts International - LT? - with a load of beer to a Brewers Retail outlet.

Although brewed primarily in London ON there is a distribution centre in Mississauga. The trailer has all axles down so it must be loaded.

A T660 from Slades Cartage heads west while Erb and Pinnacle go east

Nice set Rob! Love the Great Canadian Argosy in particular, but the Challenger Cascadia and the Labatt's International with the heavy Bud trailer are neat too.

Everest....

Unknown International Prostar with a flat deck trailer.

Another unknown with a Paclease Pete.

and...Velocity

I let lots of dryvan carriers go past. I bagged the odd one though.

And, we continue

A Transforce mash-up with a Roadfast tractor hauling a McArthur Express trailer.

Titanium with a Flexmor trailer. Flexmor was the first acquisition of the company that is now Titanium.

Pronorth, Muskoka and Jackson are others.

Has Tim Hortons gone "Corporate White" ? Would appear to be so.

A Prostar hauling a load of "slinkies" but I can't read the carrier name. from Hawk Transport of Alfred ON (thanks Mr Tyzo)

Photo Of The Day for Sunday. A Peterbilt 389 (379?) with a shiny reefer always makes for a good truck picture.

Sunday May 13 2018
Mothers Day and my wife was out with our daughters so I had some free time.
Truck Pictures! - The 401 is the best bet on a Sunday afternoon.

Let's kick off with this unknown reefer hauler - retired Scottlyn trailer .

Prostar

Stargate Logistics with an old Kenworth T2000

Maritime Ontario

Bison Transport Volvo headed to Mississauga terminal.

RST daycab with B Train gas tanker

RST is an Irving Group carrier along with Sunbury and Midland.

AGI Transport of Bolton

And we continue with Conners from Nova Scotia

And; VTL from St Louis Du HaHa Quebec.

I wonder what they put in those boxes beneath the trailer.

Load Lane with a Can-Truck tractor; they appear to be related companies.

Here's another from AGI

Car hauler

Are those Hondas on the trailer?

International 9900 with a roll tite trailer

Schneider Cascadia

Suicide Slinkies! (thuough they might just bounce back...) ;)

This is really cool and a great shot,, a full B-train load.  Really tough looking rig too, even with a white Cascadia.

Slinkies from Ivaco on TKTL - I shot two of the four loads that passed me.

Yeah that Cascadia b-train looks like it was built for that job specifically, nice shot Rob! Also I like the 9900 with the conestoga. And yeah the car hauler appears to be hauling a load of Honda CR-V's.

The car hauler must have come from Aliiston where Honda has a large plant.

RBT Limited of Acton

RedLeaf Logistics from Brampton

Zooming Volvos

HBC Transportation of Brampton

Wellington Milk Transport from Erin.

The Maritime Ontario KW is pretty slick, as is the blue Pete. 8)
I believe the Pete is hauling a "Feller Buncher", which is used for logging.
