August 21 already!
Where is the time going?
I have to apologise for the pictures - I had been trying a different setting earlier in the day and forgot reset the camera.
That being said - they are action pictures that can't be reshot so I am posting them as they come.

Leading off....a Peterbilt daycab from Wilson's Truck Lines heading to the West Mall Etobicoke terminal.

Coming second is another Peterbilt - unidentified triaxle and stepdeck combo.

A Freightliner Cascadia comes next - it too is unidentified.

The entire fleet of Bokalko Transport from Hamilton is this Freightliner with covered wagon trailer.

I tried to get both of these 10 wheeler straight trucks in the shot. TransOntario Express Kenworth was starting to pull away from the Castrol Oil Freightliner.

Here is another Peterbilt - not sure which carrier this is . Transport Mario Asselin according to Pascal who never lets me down!

Transport Econo-Nord from Sainte-Jerome QB is pulling a GO-JIT trailer.

There are more pictures to follow (of course)

The tri-axle Pete is sharp, the custom rear fenders are a cool touch. 8)
The Castrol Freightliner is nice too, cool catch.

Then a Volvo from AMA went past.

I'm posting/saving this picture as it is the only example of St Lambert Transport, a Transforce fleet based in St. Romuald Que., that I have. Of course I'm kicking myself for mostly screwing the shot up.

A pair of Volvo daycabs is the subject of  the next picture. AVRO from Mississauga and Sylvite from Burlington.

I should have posted this as the POTM - white!

Here's a daycab from SWIFT with a Swift Intermodal container.

A sharp Peterbilt wrecker stormed past.

A Volvo steel hauler from MTI

And THIS would have been the Truck Of The Day if I had managed a decent picture.

He saw me shooting the picture and gave me a Jakebrake salute.

More later.

I'm not sure who runs this Western Star daycab but they use a former Earl Paddock trailer.

The pictures from August  were not very good so I went back for more on Friday August 24.
You know, like I NEED an excuse to go take pictures.

Walking to my favourite spot I see this loaded flatdeck from Crawford Metals heading past.

then, a daycab from Cooney Bulk

Here comes TRUCKER TROY from Titanium

A Western Star for All Ontario Recycling from Barrie.

Ganeca is a TFI (Transforce) carrier from Carigan Quebec.

Here is a Mack from Trimac - I think a jacketed trailer like this is for acid or some other corrosive material.

Oceanland is a clearance and distribution facility near the Toronto International Airport.

Peterbilt and Bulker B train for Glen Tay Transport.

TFI (Transforce) seems to be pushing the Contrans owned bulk carriers to operate under one name. The bulker in the middle lane has the Contrans Transforce logo but by the time it got in camera range it was passing the Moddom Haulage truck and pony gravel hauler.

Gasoline hauler Wescan Transport - a large fleet from WEStern CANada they now operate here in the east.

So,
Another Truck and pony gravel set. This one is on with Laidlaw. Their dump division must be hiring local trucks for gravel. I see they show as having yards in Milton and Pontypool both of which are places with quarries.

Titanium is a busy carrier. They run Volvos; they made a large purchase of them in 2016.

B&B is a Quebec based tanker fleet. They are from Pascal's home town of St. Hyacinthe.

The shaky shot of the day is this Volvo from Fortigo with a flat deck.

The TRUCK OF THE DAY -WD Potatoes W900 from Beeton apparently on the way home. They run a sharp fleet of Kenworths.

Immediately followed by the COULD HAVE BEEN Shot of the Day as Scottlyn headed west. Their "meet" must have been under the overpass.
That would have been a great picture; two of Ontario's shiniest fleets meeting. (Ignore the Mack, the Mack is photo bombing)

W.D. Potatoes is awesome & a fleet I only see here on the Forum. Scotlynn on the other hand is a regular I-95 runner & I see them all over the northeast............plus their US division is based in SWFLA where I see them a lot.

Thnaks all for the comments - Charlie ; you should make a journey up here sometime.
I was going to suggest when your Mets are in town but they aren't coming up in 2019. :( It looks like the Dodgers and Rockies - neither of which have any real history with the Blue Jays.
Back to truck pictures.
Laidlaw was the Core acquisition by Dunford that grew into Contrans. They sold to TFI (Transforce)but kept their colour schemes. Now though, the Transforce scheme is starting to appear on most of the Contrans fleets. This is the first example I have seen from Laidlaw.

PS - Stan Dunford's name is not on the Contrans website.  ??? He must not be associated with them anymore.

Bell Cartage from Kitchener Western Star.

Musket Transport hauling an SM Line container.

Another ZOOM.
Unknown Perterbilt Btrain grain hauler being zoomed by Nova Steel.
