Lester J. Brown Antique Truck Show (Updated with Photos)
« on: April 26, 2018, 04:14:33 PM »
May 12 from 9am to 4pm at the North Carolina Tranportation Museum in Spencer.
It's happening in conjunction with National Train Day.

Here's a link:
http://www.nctrans.org/Events/Truck.aspx

It's the same weekend as the Kenly 95 Show, which I planned to attend, but the Spencer show is more to my liking, especially when trucks and trains are going to be involved. ;D
I'll be taking our Pete 359 wrecker and my Mack.
Expect some photographic updates within a few days after the show! ;)

This is some good coverage Wreckerman! I went to Kenly 95 anyways, while it was a good show it was smaller than I expected it to be. Expect some coverage on it from me later. As for your sets, I'm digging the older stuff, like the Ford COE, the Fredrickson White COE, and your Mack and the 359 are both looking good as usual. I also caught my first new Mack Anthem at Kenly 95, and I gotta say I'm not digging the look. They butchered the front end IMO. But thanks for sharing these anyways, next year maybe I'll go to this show to see some antiques. I like the train coverage too, the Transportation Museum has been on my bucket list since they did the photoshoot with all the retro-painted NS power there.

Hey, thanks guys! ;D
The show was kinda small, but some cool stuff and the trains made up for the size.
