Still from March but earlier in the month

Parking outside the AMJ Campbell Mississauga terminal has been banned. This is a spot nearby,

This car haul trailer isn't that large so I'm surprised to see the Volvo tractor.

Bigger trailers means more cars which means more revenue.

Tried to shoot this International Prostar from Alberta.

I share your surprise about the Volvo carhauler. I see many big trucks pulling those smaller trailers & often think how they have to be limiting their earnings potential. ??? Unless he's got a sweet deal doing local dealer deliveries I'd think bigger is better. ;D

Thanks Lance but there are more coming.

Nice little series, Rob

Another owner operator car hauler - and I don't know why he was driving in the place where I shot the picture.  ???

It was a Friday afternoon and this Cascadia from Active Transport was bobtailing to the yard where they park.

There is a fenced yard on the west side of the cement plant where the Active tractors park. They drop their trailers in the John Grant Haulage yard.

Yes, you did but that's OK.
The one you posted was worthwhile.
They are calling for snow on Sunday here. I hope you've gotten past that.

Keith Hall and Sons are based in the southern Ontario village of Burford.
www.keithhalltransport.com

They haul food products; they probably started as milk haulers but haul chocolate and sugar products.
I think their entire fleet is Internationals.
This is one of their sugar tankers. It nearly slipped past me in February 2018.

Always neat to see your multi axle setups Rob. What's the standard no-permit max weight they're allowed to haul with a rig like that?

Not sure what the weight limit is ...it's complicated. ::) ??? ??? ???
https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/050413

Now, this is a truck I keep trying to get. One of the billboard trailers for Coke.

What I end up with is....URBAN CLUTTER.
Damn City of Toronto sees a piece of grass near a street they plant a sign or a post.
Actually the concrete pole is for Toronto Hydro and I.m not sure what the metal post supports.
The Thermo King box on the trailer is for a heater. Can't have the Coke delivered frozen.

Well thanks for the link Rob, I agree with you on that lol. Got as far as:

Quote
Axle group weight limits
19. The axle group weight for a quadruple axle in a designated tractor-trailer combination 6 or 7 is that specified in the corresponding Schedule instead of the axle group weight for a four axle group referred to in clause 117 (1) (c) of the Act.  O. Reg. 413/05, s. 19; O. Reg. 457/10, s. 19.

before I gave up the search. TL;DR: It can pull a lot of weight.

Anyways, it's nice to see Coke trucks with heaters on them Rob, that's a fresh take on an old classic.  Sorry about the shot, at least you got the cab clean though.

Sandman Services from Mt Jewett PA

The light was better on this side but the darn lamp post was in the way. (see POTD for April 4)
Paul; I wonder if he was here to load cement. I'm not sure if sand is loaded around here much but they do pump out tonnes of cement.
