Cool Project
« on: March 08, 2018, 02:33:23 PM »
One of the guys I work with called me to tell me what he was hauling today. It was perfect timing because I was at our shop just a couple miles away.Needless to say I did not waste any time getting over there. The truck was just repainted ,the cab and sleeper are now on air and it was made into a unibilt. One thing strange about it is it's a 1983,it was built in Nov 1982 and he said it was the last extended hood W900A built.

I am going to have to look for the pictures but I have posted pictures of this truck a few years ago.It was parked in Capstan Hauling's yard with a Peterbilt 359 ext in front of it .It was all blue at that time.

That's a lucky dude that's restoring that rig.
I've always thought the old Aerodyne sleepers were and still are the best looking sleepers out there, and they look particularly good on an extended hood W900A! 8)
Awesome catch there Rob, thanks for the pics and info.
Maybe we'll see some progress shots eventually... ;D

I donít think I will be able to get any progress pictures. Our truck hauled to a farm outside of town .I know who the owner is but I donít know him . He said he figured he would have it done by the end of the summer.
