You know the one I'm talking about - the spot where he captured so many of those great truck pictures.

I loved his photos from that spot. :) I believe Iowa Super Trucker (Michael Lynick) knows where it is.......in one of his posts he made a Google car trip out that way. ;D

I got you guys, have it saved in my Google Maps. It's on my truck pic bucket list, kinda hoping I can make it up there sometime this year tbh.

You can even see Gerard was out there when the Google car was driving by, that's a hell of a coincidence.

Junction of highway 10 and 55, near Sherbrooke. Since his passing, the forum has never been the same...

I took a couple screenshots and saved them to my SlickPic albums so we'll have them forever.  I used to email Gerard often outside of conversing with him on here, I just uploaded a couple albums from photos he'd shared with me in the past.  I'll post them on over in Carriers Thread.

Like most of us I didn't know Gerard but we did PM back & forth frequently on the Forum. :) He was a wealth of knowledge re Quebec trucking and just seemed like an overall great guy. I would have loved to have had the opportunity to spend some time truck fanning with him.

I agree with you Pascal. I would apply the same remark to Rob Archer who decided to leave the Forum. I'm nostalgic about
his photos taken along the 401.

Je Retour Rene!
I will have to return to my 401 spot too.
It was certainly sad about Gerard and makes me at least realize how precious our time here is.
It can end almost without warning.
