Plycool
« on: November 18, 2017, 09:22:58 PM »
Shot this nice Volvo on I-80 in western PA last May.  I'm curious if anyone knows anything about the company.  It's obviously part of the Plycon Group, but the only info I came up with for Plycool is that they are from NY state and possibly have two trucks.

I've never heard of Plycool until I read your post Paul. The address appears to be the same as Plycon/Plycar but the only reference I found online was to a plycool roofing system. I did find a link to the company in Flushing NY who does the lettering & wraps on Plycar trucks. 8) If you check about 1/2 way down this link you'll find this Volvo..........lotsa other sharp trucks too.

Definitely too new to actually be a former Jevic, but the livery looks pretty spot on. I am thinking that Plycool may just be a nickname for Plycon Transportation. I have seen it as a hashtag on their social media pages, and this truck is featured on their website hauling a regular Plycon moving trailer, so I am thinking it is just a Plycon truck that looks cool, so Plycool ;D

Interesting shot Sam, haven't seen them mark their trailers like that before. Are they in the refrigerated goods hauling business now? IIRC Plycon is their moving subsidiary.

SAFER says Plycool has 2 trucks, whereas Plycar/Plycon have 37. So that's a nice catch you got there.
