Thanks guys for comments and corrections!

This one should have been in the inbound trip as it is a favorite of mine and I missed posting it, a 1st gen Coronado between Goderich and Kincardine -or even this side of Walkerton, can't remember- the other day

and one more from Saturday, as we went to eat just out side of Clifford, a quick point and shoot to catch this W900L day cab KW with a cool feed trailer

Now being Sunday, almost NO truck traffic for the ride home (London), we opted for a more direct south bound drive, still wanting to stay off the 401 as the towns up here are fine and have a great history. We took HWY 23 South to 7 east to 4 south back to London town, stayed for the final night of the trip.
We did catch one on the move near Palmerston, New Life has a sharp fleet and this 2nd gen Coroanado is one of those

then Listowel was the jackpot for the day, this Western Star was backed into a loading dock of a local industrial building

a driveby shooting of the concrete fleet shows they split between Mack, Western Star and Sterling

this sharp pair of feed trucks also calls Listowel home, proudly flying the maple leaf in honor of the weekend

then on down to Atwood where we caught the Burger fleet resting, a 9900ix IH greets us at the entrance

an ex Skelton(?) IH become a Burger

The Peterbilt 386 model finds favor in the lineup too

and a KW W900 with a 386 beside it completes this town

then to Mitchell, a pair of Western Star 4900 SBA from Wallenstein Feeds feed trucks at their place

smart looking Paystar fitted with feed body in the front line

and back in London for a Lonestar from Hyndman Transport at a Cardlock

That ends the trip, we had a great weekend, hope you all enjoyed!

These pictures are from a trip to Ontario in 2018 that landed us in North Bay, Ontario and we drove to Hailybury where we stayed when checking out Notre Dame De Nord PQ. Most of these pictures were on the main site but never did put them on the forum.
Starting off in North Bay, this is my one and only shot of a Manitoulin Freightliner 114SD super truck

from a truck stop in North Bay

same place, a Hightlite Motor Freight Volvo

and a billboard trailer

and a Miller Paving Hot Asphalt tanker

climbing the grade out of North Bay are a pair of tankers

lots of axles on this IH Prostar SB on HWY 11

Erb Transport IH 9900i SB on HWY 11

The Beer Store Freightliner M2 making a delivery in Temagami

the northern part of Ontario is huge, a sleeper is required to deliver Jeeps with this Western Star auto carrier

hauling lumber Ontario style with a KW T800 possibly an ex Downey Transport?

more to come, stay tuned........

Somehow; this is all new to me. I missed it first time around.
Excellent coverage of southern Ontario.
No cattle liners?
I always found cattle liners up in that section of the province.
The Algorail was scrapped in Port Colborne last year.

Good thing I added to it Rob, maybe you were away when I initially posted it, easily done! Thought of starting a new topic but theses are then my Ontario Randoms.......very random!

Coming into Latchford, a nice park with a view of the NB traffic and this sharp Western Star 4900 passed thru. Just noticed the pay phone, amazing!

Labatt IH Prostar coming at us SB

I was happy to catch this fine 389 with stainless tridem reefer SB

in New Liskeard I nabbed a Seaboard Western Star fuel  tanker

and also likely my first Grant Haulage, an  IH Prostar B-train fuel tanker, they have a terminal in New Liskeard but they were not keen on us wanting to take any pics

there were quite a few of these PC dump trucks and concrete mixers roaming around, nice Ontario specd KW T880

Here is a Mack Granite specd the same, even the pickups had the yellow fenders, nice touch. Might stand for Pederson Construction, can't remember

and back in Hailybury, we were eating supper when this sharp KW pulled up and parked in town, I got up and stepped outside to shoot him......it had to be done ::)

time to load up some pics........

Thanks guys, yeah, Labatt's is always a nice catch!

In New Liskeard, I finally was able to go to Gilli's Truck Stop

just a cool cool sign

being a long weekend, not a huge amount of activity going on but a Freightliner FLC 120 SBA and a Coronado Mk ll SBA bulk tanker are in the lot

along with this heavy duty Western Star4900 seems like it splits duties with Cohn Produce Farms and Beattie's Distilleries

the H-63 Mack sitting proud on her perch keeping an eye on things

across the street we captured this nice KW 900L hooked into a Conestoga with plenty of axles

Grant Haulage KW T800 wood chip B-train

This Laidlaw Peterbilt 389 came in next to Gilli's with a dry bulk tanker, the late day sun was not making this the greatest pic but the rig is still sharp

time to get more pics

Love the H model Mack sign, such a cool idea!
The 2 SBA Freightliners are a really neat catch, especially sitting together, kind of an "old version-new version" shot.
The W9 with the Conestoga is a super sharp rig, probably one of the nicest rigs I've seen in a long time, really great catch there. :o 8)

Thanks Wreckerman!!

Now to finish off this segment of the trip, on the day we left New Liskeard / Haileybury, we caught a few on our way out. Here is one of the only concrete mixers I was able to catch from PC

and a shot of what is in the yard on a Sunday

a rugged KW W900 with lift axle up sitting nearby PC yard

then a few randoms we met between here and North Bay, Home Hardware B-train Cascadia NB on HWY 11

Peterbilt 386- from Premier Bulk Systems, thanks to Rob-with a tridem stainless tanker

crappy shot of a cool KW T680 quad axle propane bottle Canadian Clean  fuels, thanks to Rob

unknown Peterbilt 379 with a reefer

from a roadside picnic area a short nose Columbia 10 wheeler bearing the Atlas Logistics name rips the silence as I put down my bun to point and shoot

a Volvo with a set of tankers rounds the bend, thankfully or things would be very different now

and in North Bay, an IH 7600 stone slinger gets bagged

along with an ex-CBM IH Paystar mixer transformed into a grapple crane

just before heading up to the airport where the road trip ends and air continues, managed to catch this awesome Brockway that was at the Notre Dam de Nord show- the reason for the trip!

Thanks for lookin! It was an awesome  trip, glad we were able to do it!!

The Brockway catch is one for the books. :) I wouldn't think too many of them made it that far west even in their heyday. :D

The Pete 386 tanker is from Premier Bulk Systems.
I see it here in Clarkson quite frequently.
The KW with the propane tank is Canadian Clean Fuels or something like that,
Grear shots all round.

The Brockway was likely from around North Bay area? Not many made it into Ontario region either that I can remember.
