This was a great idea Rob, a compilation of his excellent work will make a nice tribute.  Hopefully his hosting sites will be maintained.

Thanks guys; I had been giving some thought how we should remember Gerard.
You are correct Paul about the Hosting Sites.
Lance, can you dig out some more for me to move?

Thanks All,
Rob

Splendid way to honor Gerard Laplante here on the Forum. :) His memory & excellent photography will continue to live on through this nice tribute of his work. 8) Just make sure to include a bunch of outings from "The Curve" & "The Ferry" which IMHO were his signature works.

A great way for us to celebrate the life of Gerard who most of us would have love to meet but have gotten to know him here with the passion we all share! He will be missed here for sure but we do have the memories he shared with us. Thanks Rob.

I was sent this photo by Wayne Crane.

Gerard with his two grand children taken back in 2011. We know we all loved Gerald's truck photos but here is another side we never seen before.

Rob,

Yeah, I can try my best, I always love viewing and commenting on his threads, I actually know I still have our old E-mail's saved of picture's he personally sent me and possibly even some truck picture's that never made the forum, I should make a thread for him with all of those picture's he sent me over the past 5 Years, I use to see some picture's before he'd post them on the forum, One of his favorite fleets to Photograph was R.F. Chamberland, I know the family ran R.F. Chamberland company pretty well, We'd go back and fourth of sharing each other picture's through e-mail's, Before they were posted on the forum, Especially when it came down to R.F. Chamberland Picture's...

`` The Laplante Curve `` is located on the HWY 10 between Magog and Saint-Élie.

Make a search with Magog and then click on Maps. You will see a first left curve just pass the HWY 55 and a second one
further away at the junction with the route 112; the `` Gérard Curve`` is the following one which turn on the right.
