Another cool addition of another Edison! Nicely done, I'm amazed at they way you take all these old model kits and utilize them into these cool builds!

Thanks for the compliment Jim.
Here's a River Point Station Ford that's been modified to fit a 3D printed utility bed.
The beginning, standard RPS dually.

The fun part, disassembled and frame and ready to be extended.

Now it's time for all the stuff nobody sees. Frame modifications completed.

Cab raised up to a more prototypical height.

Mock-up

Utility bed painted

Finished

Nice little project, even though I know how much it does take to do those too!! Looks good, you made that 3D print box look pretty good really! No more "frost".

Nice work on the RPS and the body looks awesome, don't look 3D printed at all.

Thanks, the "Frosted Ultra Detail" printed items turn out nice and sharp. It's got a primer coat, 2 light coats of flat white and it was finished with Semi-gloss white. That helped smooth out what little "lines" that were in it.

I've been following this thread for a while now & would like to compliment you on some nice builds. Although i'll probably never see this fleet back east they have been here in New Jersey...........check out the Chris Sissick Collection (Power Utility Trucks) on the main site. The Southern California Edison trucks & workers were flown back here after Superstorm Sandy in late 2012 and restored the power to Chris' area in north Jersey.
