Awesome catch on the Van Kampen 567, I am really starting to like those a lot! I wonder if it was headed to the show, as they don't service the east coast, they mainly haul refrigerated product out to California, Arizona, etc. Sharp looking fleet. I am interested to see how many of the fleets that ran long hood trucks and switched to aero now go to the 567. It is supposed to be very fuel efficient, while maintaining the more classic look and having the better space of the new cab.

Interesting, for some reason I thought they were not hauling this way. I'll have to be on the lookout as Ohio should be on their route back to Michigan as I have missed them up to this point. Perhaps because I have not been doing much in the name of local spotting, which I need to get out and do more of, as well as visiting truck stops.

Those 567's are interesting catches; they look especially nice with the air shield like that.  Bailey Trucking is a fleet I see regularly; didn't know they had a 567 though.  I usually see them pulling around crappy leased dry vans like the one in the pic, but otherwise they have some decent looking equipment.  As for the VanKampen one, I've known that they had 567's for a while as I saw one at the Walcott truck show last year; however the one I saw was a different truck, without an air shield.

By itself, I absolutely love the looks of these axle-forward 567 tractors, and is nice to still have something to fill in the gap between classic and aero that was left empty with the 386 and T660 being discontinued.  That is, as long as it doesn't hurt 389 sales significantly - as nice as these are, the 567 still doesn't do justice to the timeless 389.  Hardly any fleets buy the 389 these days anyway, so as long as it doesn't cannibalize the 389 too much it's good to see that nicer fleets like VanKampen still have an alternative to dressed up T680's and 579's.

All those Western Stars in the first set look good, and I agree with the others on the 567, that's just a good looking truck. I'd rather see them on the road than Cascadia's and Prostars any day. It's a nice blend between aero and vintage Pete.
