I was just going through some updated collections on Hanks Truck Pictures and noticed Mr. Gruin passed away on January 2 2017.  :( Always enjoyed looking at the older trucks he had taken back in the day and how glad I was that he did. :) Rest In Peace sir.

R.I.P.
Fred Gruin was a big model builder in 1/87 scale.
His work was prominent on the 1/87 th website every month.

Very sorry to hear this, really enjoyed seeing his builds on the 1/87 scale site that posted his work, he will be missed.

Fred was certainly well represented on 1/87 Vehicles for good reason, his fleet builds were full of variety and covered fleets from all over the Continent. I think he had the most photos posted on the club site of any other builders! Then all his actual truck pictures over the years, truly he will be missed but we can enjoy what he left for us and remember him for years! Good Bye Fred!
