W900 Headliner Removal
« on: February 25, 2017, 04:51:59 PM »
I have searched the internet for a video or other tutorial on removing
the Headliner out of my truck.
I've come up with nothing.

I need to drop the headliner and pull the back wall panel to clear out
the nests of a mouse infestation.

I'm confident that I've gotten rid of the little vermin, but the smell remains.

I know that in the VIT Interior panels there are some that have screws under the buttons
and some that have push clips, I would just like to know which ones so as to not damage anything.

I'm pretty sure just pulling the screws out of the surrounding moldings won't be enough.

Anyone with any knowledge that they would like to share would be appreciated.

PS> Otherwise a trip to KW is in order, I would just as soon avoid that so as not to be wasting their
time or be told "Just bring it in, we'd be happy to take your money."

Truckin`Addiction.
Argueing with a trucker is like wrestleing with a pig in the mud.
After a while you realize the pig is enjoying it.

Well, went to KW and the Service Manager printed me off the Service Bulletins
needed.
I offered to pay and was declined.

He did note that it can be a heck of an undertaking and suggested while I was in there to
Dynamat everything.

There, the easy part is done now.

I'm fairly confident that the mice are gone.
