Speaking of Generals I was looking at an old log truck today. Maybe someone can post the pics once I download them. Anyway.....I'm not familiar with what they had for frame options, but this one was huge. It was insanely deep bellied.




There used to be a whole bunch of Generals in town here working in the steel mill. Heavy spec dump trucks with steel front fenders and 6V92 turbo 350's. They lasted as long as the Paystars did. I was impressed.

Thanks Rob! Didn't even know you did it, LOL.

It's kind of a shame. A friend of mine used to own that truck and it was in really good shape. But now it sits in a log yard loading train cars and I see someone smashed the front fender off it.

From what I remember, I think this one has an NTC Cummins in it. But I could be wrong.

Cool truck, never knew they offered the L10 in the General, drove a Brigadeer that was L10 powered tho.

Have an Old Timer in his late 70's here has an Identical Setup.. He just Runs it in Season on Asphalt Contracts only..lol..  He made his money back in the late 60's early 70's when the New Pipelines were being layed thru the Ottawa Valley down towards Conrwall then on to Montreal..
