This Cat's gone to the Dogs

Truckload carrier Smith Transport of Roaring Spring PA has been handling distribution for Cleveland Brothers Caterpillar for several years, and their New Stanton PA facility has always had a combo based there but with either one of the yellow or black CAT tractors.  This past Friday 12/23 I found this Smith Mack being used in place of the older CAT tractors.

50 years ago Hart Motor Express hauled a lot of Ford parts and fright . Hart ran GMC'S & some Internationals .
The Ford company asked them to buy some Ford tractors to use on their dedicated accounts . Mr. Hart told them that when he could afford to fix them that he would buy some ........ He lost the Ford account ! - LOL

That's a nice looking truck, minus the wheel covers in the back. Those daycabs look good in black.

I was through there back in April and it seems the Mack has been replaced with a Pete.
