Young Devin will be a heck of a driver by the time he gets his CDL.
When he does get it, I want his old man to bring him to me for post graduate training!

"Devin, see that open scale up ahead?"
"Smile and wave when you drive by it!"

"Devin, see that speed limit sign that says 110 km/h?"
"Back it down to 95, maybe you can make a couple people late for work, and don't forget to smile and wave back at them when they pass you while giving the one finger salute!"

"Devin, see that sign that says girls, girls, girls? Pull in there for lunch, the food is better than at the truck stop, and there aren't as many truckers in there whining about their jobs!"

"Devin, has your Dad taught how to fill out log books?"
"Well......, the advanced method requires you get 3 logs, and you run them 8 hours apart, that way you'll never run out of hours, but don't get them mixed up, that could be very very bad!"
The first rule of the road is:
"If anything can happen, at any time, it will!"

I don't know if there is a single 'right' way to learn:  but I do know there are a lot of wrong ways!

Log books? You mean those things that will disappear by the end of the year?
Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!
