Yeah I kinda figured that. The only one I ever photographed was in SWFLA back in 2004 or so.

I don't know which corridor they do run in the States, the only one I have ever seen was this past year in Louisville, KY, a new 5700XE, but it was just in town for the show I imagine. Can't recall ever seeing them otherwise.

Here's a "Transforce Four", also taken Saturday 5/7, with three mixed equipment combos.

Who would have thunk it, mid-60's and sunny in January.  The excitement gets tempered a bit though with the realization that the sun isn't necessarily you friend this time of year.  Some shots from this AM, Saturday 1/21.

Lately a lot of not-so-great white trucks from the Great White North, but I managed to catch these three colorful open deck carriers.

Brookville

Fairway

Clarke

LTG Transportation from Corinth Texas

Diverse Transport, Oakville ON.

Pittsburgh based Ricci's Hauling

Voortman's Cookies/Appleby Transportation, Burlington ON

And lastly....

Great stuff Paul, all the Pete's look good and the Plycar Volvo is a nice catch.

That Plycar really is nice, as is the Diverse Western Star.

This Penner FLD that pulled into the rest area was a nice surprise.  Any thoughts on if it would be a company truck, or a broker running under the paint code?

What was the last year the FLD was produced as a complete tractor? (as opposed to a glider kit)

Nice to see an FLD looking that good. 8) IIRC I thought Penner was an all O/O fleet.......has that changed? ???

Very nice indeed to see one in that good of shape! Penner is still 100% O/O, and you can see a variety of equipment, usually pretty well looked after. The last year of mainline production of the FLD120 SBFA (along with the oddball SFFA version) was 2003, though the Classic and FLD SD continued to the 2010 model year. 2010 was also the last year of glider kit production.
