W-900A Daycab
« on: April 10, 2016, 03:12:21 PM »
I recently restarted a project I have had on the shelf for about 25 years.I started the model back then but after I put the sleeper together and painted it I realized I had put the sides on backwards. That put a halt on the project.I decided not that long ago to make it into a daycab.I built the back wall for it including a window made from a CD case.I shortened the frame about an inch. Also at some point I stole the stacks from the kit for another project.I ended up using a shafts from selfie sticks to make straight pipes.I used paper clips for brackets to hold the on.I still want to build a headache rack for it because I the mounts for the sleeper are still on the frame so that would help hide them.
I still have a few things to do yet like fenders and fifth wheel. The orange one I built about 25 years ago

Nice work, love the colour.
Truckin`Addiction.
Argueing with a trucker is like wrestleing with a pig in the mud.
After a while you realize the pig is enjoying it.
