I saw this cool new W900L daycab at the local KW dealer a few weeks ago.

Nice, that's a very sharp looking rig. Can I assume that Icon 900 in the 2nd pic is the same one posted in the Icon 900 thread too?

Normally I'd say that a W900L daycab is a waste of a long hood, but this one is sharp! a sure fire winner in my book.

It is kinda loud, but I like different colors. Reminds me of the good old days in the 70's and early 80's when you saw all kinds of colors and stripe combinations.

Only thing wrong with it is that def tank and the engine that goes with it, LOL.

Are there two filler caps on the fuel tank? What is up with that?

The tank with the two fill caps you are seeing are actually two tanks.  The front tank is the fuel tank, and the rear tank is likely a hydraulic oil tank for a wet system.

I agree, very neat way of doing it! And the def tank almost matches also, which isn't bad. They usually stand out like sore thumbs.

A little nit-picky here, the split tank on Kenworth is the other way around, Fuel at rear
hydraulic, forward. Easier to build as KW's fuel fill is at the rear.
(Western Star that has the fill neck in the middle has the hyd. portion to the rear)

In regards to the DEF tank, I have seen a couple that appeared to also be integrated
into the fuel tank, a very clean look.
Not sure, could have been an aesthetic cover over the gap.

I'm far from being against colour, just some combinations assault what my eyes are receiving.
If the orange was a darker blue or black, maybe cream.
or
Keep the orange and change the red to yellow.

regardless, not my truck and to each their own, I'm dang near positive there are things about
my truck that others don't like.  :P ;) ::) :D 8)

Neat looking truck, the color combo certainly stands out but I actually like it. I could be wrong, but wasn't this an original factory W900A paint scheme as well?

Can't decide if I like the color combo, but, I'll give him points for standing out. He'll certainly never have trouble spotting his truck in the parking lot.

Per NHRS' conversation about brighter color on trucks being better for cross-traffic visibility, I'd say this one maybe even more so than a solid red truck because of the immensely high level of contrast.

For some reason, I really like the color combination.
