I was lucky enough to get a pic of the Blankenship Classic as it exited the Blue Beacon in Elkton MD on 7-13-18....sharp looking truck & fleet. :)

Thanks guys.

Jim that Reliable Coronado shot was heavily edited, it was taken near dusk and I was shooting into the sun, so it required some Photoshop effort to make that shot look decent. Glad you liked the sets too IST.

Edit: Always nice seeing shots of rigs we've both grabbed Charlie. That entire Blankenship fleet is sharp, I'm lucky to have a constant presence for them up here.

A Pete 379 for Matthews Trucking of New Limerick, ME, shot one day at the Flying J in Ruther Glen.

He's actually out of Houlton, ME and lives an hour south of me

I know who owns that truck and just saw it two weekends ago at a local truck show we have in our area on a Saturday, Actually

And also nice new series since I've last visited this thread

I'm gonna mix it up on this one with some fresh shots and some older POTD submissions from the last few months that I never put anywhere else.

Starting with the hurricane helpers out of NY staging in Woodbridge today, waiting for Hurricane Dorian to decide where to make landfall.

Shot this 362 in early July one afternoon, for Cavallo Equestrian Arts of Myakka City, FL.

Shot this 389 for Roadrunner out of Sterling last Tuesday, Roadrunner is our primary contracted vendor for county tows. Caught him rolling out of my shop taking that Cascadia to Western Branch Diesel in Manassas:

Shot Rescue 503 for Dumfries-Triangle VFD picking up some food at Wegmans last Wednesday. It's a 2015 E-One Cyclone II:

Here's that VNL300 for Drew Transport I submitted for POTD last week:

And that FL Classic heavy hauler for Fairfax County Solid Waste I submitted for POTD in early August:

Kenworth T800 with a front end PTO for Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority's Engineering and Maintenance Division:

Hybrid Cascadia for CR England that was another POTD submission:

And lastly that 4900 that I've shared a few times. This rig was rebadged for Brinks a week after I took this shot.

I'm gonna do a set of fire apparatus only this time:

This was reserve Hazmat 440 for Fairfax County Fire & Rescue, but since they have a new one coming in I'm not sure where this will end up:

Right behind it was reserve Hazmat Support Unit 440, also future status unknown:

Tower 403 for Fairfax City, a 2015 Pierce Velocity w/ a 100' tower-ladder and 500 gpm pump/300 gal tank:

Tower 441, Fairfax County Fire & Rescue. 2013 Pierce Velocity w/ 100' tower-ladder:

Rescue 506, Prince William County Dept. of Fire and Rescue. 2005 Pierce Quantum/LSI. Used to be painted in Coles VFD yellow but was repainted during rehab last year.

Tanker 506, Prince William County Dept. of Fire and Rescue. 2009 Ferrera Ignitor, 1250/3000. Still painted in Coles VFD yellow:

Tower 501, Manassas Volunteer Fire Co. A 2013 Rosenbauer Commander w/ 101' tower-ladder.

Engine 26, Fairfax County Fire & Rescue. A personal rig for me, this runs out of Station 26 on Edsall Road. I went to school down the street from here up until 7th grade:

Reserve Medic, Fairfax County Fire & Rescue. Freightliner M2-106/Horton:

Tower 3, DC Fire and EMS. A 2018 Seagrave Aerialscope 95' midmount, this tower's first due includes the White House. It's also the only midmount in the fleet, every other station has a tiller.

Wow, some typically cool stuff.

The Roadrunner 389 sure is sharp, cool decal/wrap. 8)
The Metro T800 is cool, don't see very many of those (around here, at least).
Rescue 503 for Dumfries-Triangle, Tower 403 for Fairfax, and Tower 3 for DC are all really nice, the Tower 3 is a cool "downtown" shot. :)

Here's a set with more fire apparatus and a few randos that I've uploaded since last time.

Went to a small airshow at regional Manassas airport back in May, here's a couple ARFF rigs and a Shell tanker for the airport.

Red 5 is a 1995 Oshkosh T1500 staffed by Leidos, which is a gov't contractor.

Foam 581 is staffed by the city of Manassas Fire & Rescue Dept. 2000 E-One Titan HPR 6x6, 2000/3000/400/460.

International Workstar for Shell Aviation:

Not sure if we have any aviation fans here but here's a neat CH-53E Super Stallion that was at the show too.

Here's a rando shot of a WIA64T for a local out of Woodbridge that still runs this up and down 95 daily.

Rescue 2 for DCFD, a 2009 Seagrave Marauder 2 that runs out of Station 24 Petworth.

Here's a few shots from the volley fire department that runs 3 stations in my neck of the woods. OWL stands for Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton VFD.

Here's their brand new Mobile Air Unit 512, a 2019 Kenworth T370/Hackney that runs out of Station 12 a couple miles from my house.

It replaces the old MAU512, a 1999 Freightliner FS80/E-One:

This is one I've wanted a quality shot of for years, finally I had enough of waiting for the opportunity to strike so I went down to the station on Sunday and had them pull it out for me. Collapse 502, this 2006 Mack MR Series/Supreme/Fastlane doesn't see a lot of sunshine.

Another one I've waited for a quality shot of, Truck 514 is OWL's reserve ladder seen here at Station 12 filling in for Tower 512. 2000 E-One Hurricane w/ 110' ladder. Unfortunately perma-staffed by PWCDFR personnel due to a shortage of vollies.

All the fire rucks are cool. 8) The old WIA looks like it's still got a few years left in it. ;D

Sometimes you just have to ask right? Glad they accommodated your request, that is worth it, not many around like it for sure!

Oh yeah, love all the fire rigs, especially the old Oshkosh.
I like anything to do with Military equipment, so I definitely dig the heli, beefy and tough looking whirlybird there.
The old WIA is cool, and the new KW and the Mack for OWL are both really sharp. 8)
