They should move it out west and put the pintle hook back on and let the P & D guys use it. Would work well at Reno.

I heard that the longer and heavier trucks didn't make it into the highway bill.

This was some kind of  demonstration for the folks in the glass house. Some talk of hanging a liftgate on it and making a city trailer out of it

its funny big l. what goes around comes around. yellow had 32 footers back in th 70 s till the late 80 s in Rochester.they were beaver tails by fruheuf.also had 40 ft twin axle. also had merzedes straight trucks for downtown and uptown and center city. then we got a new t/m and every one got 45 s  and 48 s to peddle with. I heard fed ex wanted to run double 33ft?

They may only use it as a shag trailer ?
Or try to get regulations approved to run double 33's claiming that they can move more freight and use less fuel ?
They would need union support as it would put drivers out of work . . .
