I just got told the build date is actually late June and it will take a couple weeks to get to Salt Lake...when were you coming through town? Suddenly I'm not so sure it will make the Salt Lake show in August, so I'd best focus back on the Reo again, haha.

Ah, well, then I'll have to get to see it next trip, I guess...  ;) Coming through around the time of the Southern Idaho show.

That's too bad, it'll be all messed up by a Francis driver by then!

Do you intend to quit, then? Or are you this Francis driver who tends to mess things up? Hehe! ;)

Oh, I'm the Francis driver! I think I'll be there another two or three years at least if they're buying me a new truck. As disgusted as I occasionally get with the bull crap in the shop or in the office, when it comes right down to it, they treat me good and I enjoy what I do. I just hope Jynette can land a job with some benefits for us in the next couple years. I'd hate to go somewhere else and find that I don't like their rules or don't like the truck I'm in...and there's no rush on any owner/operator idea. I'll wait for the right deal to come around at the right time.

Just gonna leave this here. I dig the old trailer he's pulling, seen yesterday at 1100 South and Main in Brigham City, I was on my way to load at the Parsons pit in town.

Awesome! And the tractor doesn't look half bad, either. ;)

Spent last week switching between hauling to Smithfield and hauling to South Weber, two of my favorite plant hauls. Bought a truck wash in Logan one day and polished the wheels by hand that night, spent some time in the shop getting Elvira back to good again. Friday I got to drop my pup and head back up Powder Mountain hauling chips again, LOVE it! Saw some trucks this week too.

I see him quite often now and he's easy to spot with the red trailer, haha.

I spent all week heading up Powder Mountain, it was so nice all by myself. Spent a little time broke down because of a bad fuel pressure regulator, but not a bad week. Got to watch the truck hauling this Komatsu WA600 up the hill, he was being pulled by a 980 Cat and the truck's drive tire treads were full of asphalt. He had left ruts filled with tar all the way up the hill and some spots had big chunks of asphalt missing. The other truck I'm posting has a bright green frame, pretty slick glider from Malad, Idaho.

On mine? They're not painted. I like the look of painted tanks too, until they start to get chipped up, which mine would in my line of work. It's here now, I'm about to start a thread with a couple pictures of it. ;D

Got to follow this straight truck up over North Ogden Divide from Liberty the other day. He went up to the summit, turned around, and went off the road into the jobsite with them. I would guess the poles are around a hundred feet long, that's a LOT of front and rear overhang for that winding and narrow pass.

Terrible shot of a Marmon from the area, still out moving equipment.

Still hauling to Powder Mountain, eighteen loads this week and then hauled three loads to Beck Street yesterday. There's only eight or nine more loads to go up the mountain though, so not sure what I'll do later next week.
