April 2, a point and shoot on a northbound Peterbilt 387 in Surrey, odd this unit has no chrome grille and it has an aftermarket bumper too. He might be after the "no-bling" look............SUCCESS!

Friday April 03

I was on my way back from visiting relatives in Montreal today. After taking a lunch at the St-Liboire Tim, I decided  to make a 15 minutes truck spotting session. This K-100 leased to Patates Dolbec, a potatoes grower and distributor  made  this stop worth for me.

April 6 2015
Easter Monday was dawned dull and dreary.
This T600 that hauls cement for Trimac must have been leased to Highland Transport at some point.

April 8 2015.
A dull, cold and rainy day in southern Ontario.
This Hino leased to Thompson Emergency was killing time between runs, parked at a local mall.

Paul
Nice job getting the Sheetz truck at night. I shot one yesterday morning in Dalhgren VA just at sunrise (dark & rainy) and the colors from the wrap just bounced back to my lens and the pic is unusable. >:( What setting did you use? ???

Hey, you double posted for today Charlie. ;)  I was going for the record for earliest POTD, taken just after midnight, making it officially Friday AM.

I took that shot from the car, handheld on the little running guy setting (or sports/action I guess.)  It's a hair bit fuzzy, but overall came out pretty well considering.

Last Friday I finally went in and asked one of the workers if the vans came in at any given set time.  He quite enthusiastically offered up that they are usually there around midnight on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, (good thing I wasn't looking to hijack ice cream or a load of smokes or something) so I decided to give it a shot yesterday  This location is only about 2 miles from home.  I was psyched to see him there when I arrived just before midnight, and planned to try for some closer up shots once they started unloading.  Unfortunately, the two folks in the cab sat there idling for almost 45 mins, and suddenly the trailer lights came on and they pulled out, so I guess I actually got there after the delivery and the driver may have been doing paperwork or taking a break.  I'll be trying again though and see if I can get some decent night shots, now that I have the insiders info. ;D
