You got some interesting trucks on the South Shore too I see.
I wonder if "Down Home" is busy moving people back from Alberta now.

Thank's Rob. I guess that we see lot of movers bringing back people to the Atlantic. Many thousand peoples from the East were working in the oil patch and quite a few of them are affected by the slowdown out West.

On my way back I made a short stop  at the Petro Canada in St-Jean-Port-Joli, about mid road between Riviere-du-Loup and Quebec. Very few trucks there at mid morning.

Transbois is from nearby St-Pamphile. They haul mostly forest products from logs, wood chips to lumber.

As a bonus, this truck made from hay and straw. During this week end an annual festival named Hay, Straw and Beer was held in St-Jean Port-Joli. Teams of sculptors from France and Quebec were making artistic projects using hay & straw .  Meanwhile about 20 regional artisanal breweries were there  to present their products.  So it was a mix of artistic activities and parties where  degustation of " micro-brasseries " products was  a bonus.

As one of the sculptors was making the finishing touch on his project, I took a few pics of what seem to represent a pick up truck from the fifties.

Now that is a first for me, a hay truck, I've heard of Hayes before but what can I say! Nicely done.

The hay truck is definitely interesting!  The pics of regular trucks are great shots as well.

Thank's guys.  Here is the last series about my trip to Sept-Iles.  Some more trips around Quebec should come later this summer.

Heavy rain started just as I was leaving St-Jean-Port-Joli and it was still the same " deluge " 100 km away when i came to the km 311 at the St-Nicolas Ultramar.  Despite the rain, I managed to take a few pics using a small point & shoot camera.

Camille Dionne is a heavy haul specialist from the Montreal area. He is seen here hauling a big crane for Forage Blais an important contractor specialized in drilling, foundation, retaining wall, etc.
