1-28-14--Steelcase rig on I 605 north--Cerritos CA.  Anyone familiar with what is hanging down with what looks like the air hoses attached just in front of the trailer tandems?  I'm guessing some type of air deflector.

You're right Walt, it is a style of wind deflector in lieu of the trailer skirting. They claim it to be as effective but yet not so intrusive and less prone to damage. Personally, I like it better then most of the trailer skirting but have no idea about the validity of the numbers. The is one hanging off one of the trailers i posted here earlier this month, a stainless great Dane just doesn't warrant skirting of plastic but that style works OK.

Glad you posted the pic, cool shot and SO much better then the crappy shot I took today, I was waiting till 11:55 to post if no one did, yours is much better!

1-29-14  I made a trip to Home Depot in Cerritos today and found this Werner Enterprises KW in a corner of the parking lot.  The red light  behind the cab is a traffic signal on the north off ramp of I605 to Alondra Blvd behind the hedge.  It was tough sledding--no snow ;D

For the first time in the last 2 weeks I took the chance to go truck spotting. It was sunny but a little cold and truck are quite dirty. Here is a lumber hauler from Beauce County but I can't identify it.

The last day of January, an early morning sun casts a different look on this dark blue Pete 379 parked in Surrey.
