FIRST SNOW 11-17-14

The first accumulating snow of the 2014-15 winter arrived on Monday November 17 in Mississauga.

This Peter Hodge Trucking Volvo was driving in the first of many similar days to come.
I know many other areas have already had their first taste of winter but this morning we have ours in Canada's Banana Belt.
Drive Safe over the next months.
Drive Defensively!

Reminds me of the great old radio-comedy routine, phone conversation to the booze-store, ordering a whole lot of adult beverages. Guy taking the order finally asks, if that's for a big party.

Guy ordering answers, "Nah. Just trying to get up enough nerve to go to Confession!"
If you don't ask, they can't say no.

11-21-14 I try to avoid posting pics with clutter like the car but I have never seen this Canadian carrier before.

Sunday, November 23, a mild sunny day, a late 70s early 80s S Series IH 1800 with a factory paint scheme rests in a lean to, not on active duty any longer.

Monday November 24

My first load of Christmas trees this year. They start to ship  Christmas trees the first days of November. At first they ship to far away destinations usually in containers and as return load in dry boxes. For others destinations they start shipping by mi-November but last week  weather conditions were bad  and  I did not venture taking pics.  E.Bernard is a carrier from Beauce County.
