I met James Vanderveen who drives #28 -he was very hospitable and a great guy to talk to- it was in the shed but he was very kind and said I was able to wonder at will and take pictures of any of the fleet. So I did, this is #28

thanks James, was a pleasure, I will take more of it when he cleans it up -I thought it was quite clean but I get it- and hopefully we can set up some out of the shed series.
then a shot of #12, I believe it is an 85, incredible condition for its age

#26 was facing the other way, nosing out of the shed perfectly posed in the afternoon sun

I tried to capture the whole set, 2 trailers in tow but the vast difference in light was non-copperative

one more attempt, gorgeous truck too!

for smaller tasks, the S-Series IH does the job, looking quite fine too I might add

when smaller tasks are required, the 1 ton Chevy goes to work

looking at the back side of James' tractor #28

and another look at #5 hooked into a pair of specialty trailers

that was it for today, thanks James, hope to meet the rest of the gang and the fleet too!

Jim.

Talk about a nice collection! Wow. The FLB's, even the old International, everything is in really good shape. Great shots Jim!

Been over a year since adding to this fine fleet, this morning I was pleasantly surprised, right in my own hood, on my way to work, here is what I see

I thought I heard the movie set probing around last night -this gas station is nearly in our back yard, a deep lot and lots of groomed trees now- and this morning, they were on!! I would have like to get a few shots of the set too, they changed the Race Trac to Lucky Hay sales but clearly this is a Vanderveen unit. It is #26, gorgeous truck and note, Lucky Hay Sales on the door.

It was difficult to grab these shots as it was inanely busy, the IGA food store next to it had their parking lot full too so I just pulled along side the road, point and shoot!! It was all cleaned up and Race Trac was selling gas like nothing happened when I came home from work.

Nice shots Jim! Talk about a sharp fleet. I'd never guess hay hauling is that lucrative if it weren't for companies like these.

I stopped by Vanderveen Hay sales last summer, figured I should add some pictures, better late than never. ;D

one thing I like about Vanderveen is all of their trucks are older and really well taken care of .

Wow, they have a really nice fleet.
The IH is cool, don't see very many of them looking that nice, and both of the cabovers are cool, too, especially the second one.
Nice shots. 8)

+1 on what Wreckerman said, these guys have a really sharp fleet. Nice to see some FL COE's still running around looking sharp in 2019.

the short nose is # 24, James was driving it before he got 28 and is back in it while he waits for his new one.
