Lunchtime at MY Overpass - December 2013.
« on: December 05, 2013, 07:38:02 PM »
December 5th 2013 was the mildest day of the month so far and maybe for the rest of it. I hurried to My Overpass before the cold air of Wee Willy Land returned to southern Ontario.

We started off with a Contrans International Prostar.

Next, this Volvo hauling a US Express trailer.

Kim Tam Trucking (Samuel Steel) Freightliner Columbia.

Then, this Challenger Volvo was being chased by a KW T800 with disposal containers.

A Mack dumper running empty.

Scott Woods Kenworth daycab pulling a step deck with a roll tite cover.

Can Hauler 1

was followed by Can Haulers 2 and 3.

WJ Deans of Stoney Creek ON and Delson QC.

Mack Daycab from McGill based in Orillia ON. They have quite the slogan on their trailer.

Another Contrans Prostar finishes Part 1.

There will be More To Follow.

I'm not sure about that McGill logo. :-\ I'm picturing an off duty company driver wearing a McGill jacket with the logo emblazoned on the back & walking into a biker bar with some friends for a cold beer........not a pretty sight. ::)

The next batch.........

Labatt's Blue Lonestar.

"The GOOD Stuff" isn't the best slogan they've ever come up with IMHO.
"When you're smiling..say Labatt's Blue" was much better. Catchy. Ah well; they didn't consult with me.

Vesna Transport Freightliner Columbia

Herve Lemieux that is still in J.R.Richards paint.

Allied Automotive Sterling.

VNN Volvo

McConnell Transport based in new Brunswick.

Canada Cartage tank.

CCS has run a fleet of tank trailers for many years.

Another steel hauler; I believe he was from Quebec as well.

Contrans steel hauler.

Transport Group Robert Pete; it doesn't have the green logo on the bunk so it is not natural gas powered.

This looks like it was a City of Toronto trash hauling Freightliner tractor.

That's the 2nd batch; there are More To Follow.

The last from that day.

Best Choice is a local drayage firm.

Another old Freightliner can hauler, this one has a reefer can.

W900 Trash hauler returning for more.

I'm not sure which TransForce division is pulling this Fortier trailer.

Freightliner Century

Dustbane is a commercial dust control product. They are based in Ottawa.

This session on my Overpass ended with this Kenworth T800 pony dump set.

I don't know whether I will get back there this year. December tends to be pretty drab around here.
