Saw a bunch of Star's this weekend rolling across I-80....nothing Swift related with them yet anyways.

There's no official mention of it anywhere, but if you go to Star's website and go to the drivers it says 2014 T-680s are being bought. When you click to fill out the driver application it bears the Swift logo on top...

Yea it is but I think the reasoning behind it is because they were losing business I drove past CAT in Morton and saw only  STAR trailer which is odd because usually there is 20 star trailers but guess CRST took most of the contract.

With Cat out of the truck engine business, I guess that vastly expands the pool of carriers that they can use.

I never thought about it like that because 98% of Stars 386's and 387's had CAT engines.

Probably the best thing to happen to Star.  Seemed like they were always on the verge of either going under or being bought out.
