More Trucks from South Central PA
« on: September 06, 2013, 06:01:37 PM »
As Greg_E mentioned his thread, we took a trip to Carlisle, PA and some surrounding areas to do some truck spotting. We had a great trip and went home with a huge haul of photos. Here are some more of the largecars we saw on the trip.

Couldn't quite make out the name on this W900L

Transport F. Roussel Peterbilt 389

Frock Brothers Kenworth W900L

TMC Peterbilt 388

Day & Night Towing Freightliner Classic XL

Penn Valley Gas Peterbilt 379

Couldn't make out the name on this sharp Peterbilt 379

Aetna Freight Lines Kenworth W900L

Didn't get the name on this Western Star LowMax can hauler

CRS Peterbilt 388

CW Reed Freightliner Coronado

Another sharp Coronado pulling for CB Trucking

An odd little Peterbilt 388 for Odor-Tech

And lastly, my personal favorite of the bunch, this sharp big bunk Peterbilt 379 pulling for Allied Van Lines.

You got some things I missed entirely and different angles of a few I got as well. Good stuff! I'm pretty sure I caught the CRS Peterbilt with the van as well as the one I got with the flatbed, but I can't find the photo at the moment!

Thanks Greg. It's interesting to see what trucks we chose to shoot when multiple trucks crossed our lenses at the same time.

Everything about this 379 is cool.   Not overdone, not overly long, not festooned with doo-dads.  The only thing that would make it even better would be a color matched frame.

Another perfect post! ;D You guys sure need to go on more of these truck spotting trips around PA, you found more cool stuff on this one trip than I did on my entire last trip, which lasted a little more than one day, haha! ;)

Boy, these short trailer (Potato?) combo's seem to be popping up all over....1st that yellow Freightliner with the lift axles, then I think Dave and Charlie caught the same Volvo, and now that W900L.....Nice!!!

Nice series. Transport F.Roussel is from Riviere-du-Loup Qc. In heir first years, this small  fleet was extremely diversified. Now they seem to have standardized with Pete 388 or 389.
