Just tuned in around 5:30 PM and there appears to be some type of unidentified military ship being offloaded at a pier just down the line. AIS maps not working either.......coincidence or national securuty? ??? ;D

So it's an hour later and i do stand corrected. Everything's working.........the vessel is the Royal Dutch Navy auxilary Pelikaan. :)

Noon Eastern DST. It must be GARBAGE DAY in the Royal Dutch Navy.

Thanks for the great link to Photos. The Vessel was making me crazy. Couldn't figure it at all. By its lines,
estimated it couldn't possibly by the 804 (Pelikaan). The air of mystery is its absence on AIS mapping.

Here we go! The Holland Class (four vessels) are newer, purpose built "secret operation" Ships Of The Line.
They are (if we to believe public info) not as quick as my original estimation. Likely, there is little public data out
there about top end, flank speed capability.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holland_class_offshore_patrol_vessels

In the spotting problems wherein it is difficult  to spot a fleet number? That's the way she is designed to be.
If she displayed an obvious radar signature, it wouldn't be a surprise, would it? She is designed to chase some
shady characters, after all...

LOL! at 1200 my time, somebody is using their hand to wipe the water off the camera. Can't tell if they are cleaning it or wiping away rain. Sun looks to be out. lol They also just looked into the camera. lol

Missed that! At this viewing, there are six "POV" adjacent the Vessel. In my own viewing, can't account whether crew had
any shore leave with the visitation. At the same time (1220 HR EDT), noted an inbound flight for the Airport...

We will just have to wait and see when the HMS SURREPTITIOUS (?) (<G>) casts the lines and gets out of town...
