Keeping with the Old Truck Theme; I was in the Rexdale district of Toronto this Friday July 13  evening. I saw this go past. The old truck on the deck looks like a Ford but I do stand to be corrected.

Canadian Ford products differed from some U S models--Mercuries were Monarch's ---The grill on the truck looks a lot like the late 30's Fords 37/38 but for some reason I want to think it might be a Reo--just my guess ;D

Saturday July 14th a new Mack for Transchem sits waiting to be driven, don't think it has even been on her maiden voyage yet.

This morning finds a F.E. Doherty Trucking and Limestone Spreading Western Star sitting idle.  The truck has the clam bucket on the crane and a short deck over the rear axle to store a Bobcat and is capable of loading lime anywhere from anything.  It also has a pintle attached float to haul one of his high floatation ag lime spreaders

Truckin' and the night life seem to go hand in hand, the (evening) night time of July 20 catches a Peterbilt at a fueling station in Langley.

Monday July 23 2012

I have caught this KW K-100 a few times in the past. it was always toward the end of the  year when he was hauling Christmas trees to the USA.  I took it today by a temperature of 31 Celsius. Since I have spend most of my life in Northern Quebec, let say that i have problems dealing with temperature that hot.
