Charlie, did you notice the Cypress rig with a new livery next to this one?  Some paint company must be pushing "corporate grey". there's been a few white based fleets that have adopted this, notably Western Express and Frayley and Schilling.
Sorry for the late reply Paul. :( I noticed the Cypress rig but didn't get a pic. Jaro also seems to have gone gray judging from this FL Cascadia I saw at the Love's in Richmond Hill GA on 9-25-19.

I like the grey look, it seems to be the latest though, standard grey, no metallic, GM, Chrysler, Toyota have it offered on a lot of models, looks better then white for sure!!

That has been a great road trip Charlie with the weather to go with it.
With for me the COEs my pick of the bunch.      Bob.
Thanks Bob.....I can't wait for the next one in early December to get away from the chilly winter weather we already have.

Still in Brunswick GA and caught a couple of Landstar Ranger rigs at the TA.

Very sharp International 9900 stepdeck.

Big bunk FL Cascadia MK II.

Tough looking 4 axle Pete 389 heavy hauler for ICON Transportation from Mount Juliet TN parked at the Pilot in St. Mary's GA.

A sad sight to see was this burnt out Harley in Jacksonville FL which may have been going to the big Biketoberfest show outside Daytona. :(

I always get a kick out of catching a truck sporting an Alaska plate. 8) This Mercer KW T600 was resting at the Circle K off I-295 Exit 41 in Jacksonville before heading to the containerport just down the road.

Lonestar flatbed leased to The Truckers Choice of Cortland OH at the TA off I-95 Exit 329 in Jacksonville FL.

MB Transport Pete 389 with a cool trailer from Mississauga ON at the J in St. Augustine FL.

I first shot this International 9300 at the Waffle House in Punta Gorda FL back in late March 2011.....still running strong 8 1/2 years later. :) 8) It still belongs to Gestion Jean Gadoury Inc. from Montreal QC and was also parked at the J in St. Augustine FL.

The Icon heavy hauler is outstanding, and a Landstar in grey, cool! IH 9300 looks good and nice to see it still working!

That's the first new Cascadia big bunk I've seen, nice find Charlie. Love the heavy hauler Pete too, that 4 axle trailer is the best lowboy out there IMO. +1 on the Alaska plate KW too, I just like seeing them in general. The MB Pete is outstanding, love the trailer too. And I can't wait until I get my first Blue Beacon rig, can't believe it's been this long and I haven't caught one yet.

Last night on the road (10-15-19) so before heading to my motel I stopped for some good BBQ at the Daytona Pig Stand in Ormond Beach FL. The Ford Aeromax advertisement sits in front of the restaurant off I-95 and attracts customers from far and wide. ;D

Next door to the BBQ joint there's a Harley dealership & they were hosting a big event called Biketoberfest. Got a couple of shots of big bunk haulers that were there for the show starting with this Western Star.

Classy KW W900 H-D hauler. :) 8)

Heading out on 10-16-19 after filling up on biscuits & gravy  ;D at the motel the first pic after sunrise was this sharp KW W990 for Manny's Bulk Express of Tampa FL which was parked at the Longwood rest area on I-4.

Love's FL Cascadia MK II tanker (operated by Gemini) at the Love's Travel Center in Davenport FL.

Long Haul Trucking Pete 579 sitting at the Love's off I-4 Exit 44 in Auburndale FL.

Davis Express FL Cascadia MK II from Starke FL taking a break at a Burger King in Punta Gorda FL.

Final shot of the trip was this FL Coronado MK II heavy hauler for Valley Transportation Service Inc. of Grand Meadow MN which was at the Pilot off I-75 Exit 139 in Ft. Myers FL. About an hour later I dropped off the car & headed to the airport for the flight home. Hope some enjoyed the trip....until next time. :D

I hope there will be another trip south.
Do people actually pay you to have this much fun?

Amazing huh? ;D :) It is fun Rob....just hoping for one in another direction like Cali or the PNW. Now that would be fun. 8) Only 2 more going south at this time....early December to Ft. Lauderdale then early January to Ft. Myers. Should be more calls soon I hope. I've got maybe 5-6 already scheduled for northbound trips in the spring so more pics for sure. :)

The unbelievable part isn't that he finds all these gravy shots, it's that he's getting paid and still manages to find time for the gravy.

Charlie I think I've been to the truck stops north of Richmond about 15 times this year and only managed to shoot one W990 rolling down the highway. It takes you one trip to Florida to find that many. I feel like I find so many neat catches but it's always the ones I don't get to shoot that I'm most jealous of. Like that W900 pulling for Harley, there must be like 10 of those trucks in the entire US because the last time I saw a big bunk for them was in 2016.

Great catch on the W990 Charlie, the Western Star Rig hauling the bikes has some funky stuff going on.....the stacks cut through the roof fairing.....don't see that everyday!!Nice pics all around!

Thanks guys.....glad you've enjoyed the trips & photos as much as I've enjoyed doing them and looking forward to more. It's just a blast catching stuff one doesn't see in their home area. 8) And I can relate to what you said Brian....I always remember the ones that got away. ;D

Had to do a double-take at first Charlie, thought you caught the same one I shot in Florida two years ago, but a quick glance revealed it wasn't meant to be. I dig the old restored classics too.

Ooh, really like that BBQ rig, quite a hot looking outfit. ;)
The W9 for Harley is sharp, the Manny's W990 looks really nice, too. 8)
The Love's FL looks nice, and of course, the Long Haul is cool, I'm not typically a flame fan, but those look really good.
