That KW flatbed is nice, I actually really have grown to like the looks of the midroof bunk on the T680.

Hadn't gone a 1/2 mile from the house this morning when I spotted this old Ford C model tanker sitting at a new senior community being built and now employed as a mobile fueling truck. 8)

You're doing quite fine in the vintage truck dept of late Charlie, nice when they are in your hood!

On the way out to Jericho Long Island yesterday lucked out and found this Port Authority of NY & NJ Mack wrecker nicely posed at the Hoboken NJ entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel.

Nice truck Charlie, I don't think I've ever seen a Granite wrecker, typically they run Paccar and Mack sticks to dump/cement trucks.

Thanks guys. ;) I'm so used to seeing those short slab hood wreckers at the tunnels this one took me by surprise. Might be the first full size wrecker I've seen at this spot in 50 years of tunnel crossings. ;D :-\

A few dirty rigs today but it's winter and it's to be expected I guess. ;D

Sunoco Mack Pinnacle tanker filling up the tanks at a plaza on the GSP in Lacey NJ.

J.M. Papp Pete 579 day cab from Allentown PA at a pharma company dock in Lakewood NJ.

J Way White GMC with a P&O Nedlloyd can.

One of my favorite Macks from Vineland NJ which is a daily visitor to Lakewood.

ACAM Transport FL Cascadia from St-Hyacinthe QC also in Lakewood.

If I had to guess I would say that thing is only used on the heaviest Port Authority vehicles and it probably doesn't see the light of day much. If you ain't seen it in 50 trips there's a good chance it might take that long before you see it again lol.

I like the J.M. Papp daycab - the striping on the air deflector is an interesting touch! It's a 579, btw, not a 567... a 567 would not have the headlights integrated in the fenders. :)

Oh, and that Port Authority wrecker.... Man, the beefiness of that thing!!! 8) 8) 8)
