Do Air Tabs really work?
« on: January 12, 2012, 03:29:58 PM »
I was just looking at a post in another section of COX Trucking, and every picture showed their trucks with Air Tabs on the cab extenders. I have noticed here in the Columbus Ohio area, that alot of the contractors with Forward Air Freight have them. Is there anyone on the forum here with first had knowledge if these Air Tabs actually work as they're advertised to work to prevent spray up and improve fuel mileage?

All I can tell you is what I've read on the net and heard on the Kevin Rutherford show: they work, but they are not a magic bullet. It's a small improvement, but for only $200 it's a no-brainer.

Again, that's second-hand.
