Norfolk & Southern yard is located in Jersey City NJ right off NJTP Exit 15X. I took these 2 shots this morning for you Intermodal fans.

Looking north from NJTP exit ramp. Building in background is the Jersey City Bulk Mail Center across from the railyard.

View looking west from the ramp.

Great shots Charlie! Keep the intermodal shots coming!

Is this the yard you can see when you take the NJ transit into NYC? You sort of cross over one of the NS's yards. It's either this or E-Rail.

Awesome shots man. Good idea that they back them up into a fence, here in Ontario all the loaded are just dropped without having the doors secured at rail yards.

Wow, what a nice "ramp" paving and all! You even got some locomotives in the background, a spy two UP engines!

Things have a tendancy to "walk away" from that area quite frequently.....
